It must be – we’ve been pampering our guests since 1965.
On a December day in 1965, the foundation was laid for our 4-star superior hotel in Tyrol – and with it, the foundation for decades of heartfelt hospitality. Because it is exactly that hospitality that has remained completely unchanged, even as we grew from a small guesthouse into a 4-star superior hotel.
We don’t really have to make an effort for that extra dose of feel-good factor. The passion for pampering is practically in our DNA. The very first generation of Platzer hosts ran their 20 rooms with flowing water with dedication and took care of their guests with genuine joy.
We are who we are – and that’s exactly what our guests love about us.

Over the years, many enthusiastic guests have become good friends. Today, more than 50 years later, our hotel in Gerlos is still firmly family-run and continues to be managed with love and heart. So here’s to many more years filled with wonderful moments. We look forward to welcoming you!
