How beautiful it is to hike in the sparkling white! Between branches bending under the snow cover and peaks dressed in winter attire. In Gerlos and the surrounding villages, countless trails lead into the snowy landscape. Many of them are perfectly groomed and therefore also suitable for families.
Our Gerlos is truly amazing, not just for skiers. Cross-country skiers can be delighted as well. Snow-sure, perfectly groomed trails lead from the village into picturesque side valleys. Be sure to try the Schönachtal trail or venture onto the high-altitude trail at Hochkrimml. You’ll be amazed!
You’re never too young or too old for tobogganing. Since this lively winter sport is so popular, the Zillertal Arena offers no fewer than six toboggan runs. The one in Gerlos is illuminated and invites you to a very special experience: tobogganing under the stars. And for cold feet, a warm punch at the hut will do the trick!
