Do you dare to try?

After the adrenaline rush comes happiness

Did you know that our bike hotel in Austria is right at the heart of adventure? Paragliders circle in the sky, explorers with a head for heights balance from tree to tree and rugged via ferratas line up against thundering waterfalls. Perfect for anyone who loves a bit of an adrenaline kick! Use your hiking holiday in Austria to take part in the Action Club’s weekly programme (for a fee) or set off on your own to the thrilling Zillertal Arena. You’re sure to be inspired!

Spruce Castle

Once upon a time, a band of diligent spruce elves built a castle in the forest for their royal couple. And behold: on the Rosenalm in Zell am Ziller, a fairy tale came true. Visit the Spruce Castle with its water play area, hammock forest, walkable towers, adventure playground, and castle kitchen barbecue spot. A magical experience, not just for the little ones!

Paragliding

See the world from above, float like a bird over fields and houses, and feel the mountain air on your face. You can experience this during a tandem flight with Kalle Airline in Gerlos. This airy adventure is suitable for both children and adults and is, above all, unforgettable!

Forest playground

Even the path to the Gerlos forest playground is an adventure. It leads past seven themed treehouses that encourage children to explore and discover. And once the destination is reached, little eyes usually light up wide. With its suspension bridge, swing, slide, trampolines, and more, the forest playground is truly a paradise!

Arena Coaster

Tobogganing on runners, rubber tires, or rails – the Zillertal Arena offers the full package. On the Arena Coaster at the Rosenalmbahn valley station, summer turns into winter as you race down the slope for over a kilometer. For that extra thrill on the alpine roller coaster, steep turns, jumps, and spins provide the excitement.

Marble run

Will the ball make it through the maze and over the wave track? Might it get stuck in the funnel? At the top station of the Isskogel cable car, you’ll always see excited faces. That’s because a popular family attraction awaits there: two gigantic wooden marble runs! Right next door, kids can enjoy an adventure climbing course.

High ropes course

In the largest high ropes course in the Zillertal, not only are the tree trunks high, but so is the adrenaline level. With 55 stations including flying foxes and a children’s course, the whole family is challenged. Can you handle the thrill and conquer the obstacle garden?

Flying Fox

“There’s nothing more beautiful than flying,” as the saying goes. If you’d like to experience that indescribable feeling of freedom yourself, the Flying Fox is the perfect opportunity. Suspended 80 meters above the Riederklamm gorge, it stretches over 200 meters of pure excitement. Be brave — it’s worth it!

Canyoning

Ever jumped from a waterfall? It sounds dangerous, but with our professionals by your side, it’s not. Together with the Action Club, you’ll explore the Schwarzach Gorge in the most exciting way possible: abseiling down rocks, swimming through bubbling pools, and wading single file through rushing water.

Via ferrata

Climbing up the rocks like a chamois — now that would be something. From June to September, you can do just that every day at the Riederklamm Adventure Garden. Three via ferratas of varying difficulty levels are waiting to be explored and are perfect preparation for bigger tours.
