What is the essence of fine cuisine? The top-class ingredients, of course. But also an experienced team. That’s why head chef Johann Pichlmeyer and his assistants haven’t left the Platzer stove for years. Countless guests before you have already experienced the culinary magic created by Johann and his team. The team are a constant inspiration with their Austrian classics and international highlights, and their food adds to the feel-good atmosphere at the hotel.

PLATZER’S SUPERIOR HALF-BOARD IS A REAL TREAT

Here, a wonderful day on holiday starts with a large breakfast buffet featuring homemade treats, regional products, fresh omelettes and new “HO-PLA specials” every day. End the day with a 5-course menu, including a cheese and ice cream buffet as well as our ever-changing dessert and delicacy specials. For those in-between times, we offer afternoon snacks with fresh salads, soups, snacks and heavenly cakes.
We’re always happy to provide more refreshments if you’re still peckish. To ensure that everyone can enjoy a truly delightful holiday in Tyrol, we also cater to the needs of vegetarians, vegans and guests with food intolerances.
